2001 Saturn Electrial Problem

I have a 2001 Saturn SL1 with 140k miles. Went out to start it this morning and it won't turn over. The clock on the dashboard reset when I tried to start it. I checked the battery and it still has a charge. However, when I turn the key all the lights on the dashboard go dark. Headlights won't come on either. Also the doors seem to be locking by themsevles and when I open them the alarm will sometimes go off. Only way to stop the alarm is to put the key in the ignition and try to start it.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Your battery is dead. Recharge and test it.
