2000 malibu wont start

i have a 2000 malibu it must have a security passlock problem, i recently put in a new ignition when the dash was apart the yellow wire was broken so they repaired it by soldering it and then putting in the new ignition since then the car has not started and it worked great just before this, the key was really sloppy and had to be replaced in the old ignition that is the reason we replaced it. the security light was on and now it is off it still does not want to start we checked the furl pump it is working still no start i have tried to relearn the security system everybody tells me something different i have tried it all what is next any help out there, i heard you can cut the yellow wire and it totally disables the security system willing to try anything WHAT A PROBLEM!!

No, it will never run with wires cut. Did you try the 10 minute relearn or the 30 minute relearn?
