2000 f 150 misfire w/ sulfer smell

girlfreinds f150 always ran real good till i had to put a new plastic intake on it and changed spark plugs while i was at it now it misfires and has a bad sulfer smell. one day it will mis next day it wont seems to not miss with higher octane gas. truck has 254k and has 5.4 triton v-8 checked springs in the coil packs and seem to be fine. could this be fuel injector problems?
