2000 caravan sport help!

140,000 miles. Was running rough and dying on me when I gave it too
much gas. I changed the spark plugs. Engine runs smooth but when I gave it fuel it seems to choke itself down and won't accelerate. Parked it and now it won't start at all. Filter? Trans? Help! Thanks BC

Forgot to add that before the problem started was getting 19 mpg, now more like 4-6! According to the vans sensor.
