2000 Jeep grand cherokee Laredo start up trouble

Well my Jeep grand cherokee Laredo 4.0l v6, is having a hard time starting up, Its not to bad it idles like a champ one I get it going, but the start up itself is weak. Sometimes I cleaned out my throttle body really well and put a new IAC on it. The car seems doing ok other than that. Also I'm a little new to working on my own car but is there any cheap was to increase performance out of it that someone with a small amount of experience could do. It would help me both learn more about my car, and hopefully make it run real nice. Thank you -Jim
