2000 Expedition ABS noise

Hello,
I have a 2000 Ford Expedition 4x4 XLT with 5.4 Triton. There is a loud buzzing sound coming from what looks like some sort of proportionong valve with brake lines going into it that is mounted beneath the master cylinder. This noise is loud, but I don't think this is a warning buzzer of some kind. When I put my hand on the proportioning valve, it is vibrating strongly, but there is no heat. It is probably important to note that this vibration continues even when the car is off. I have to disconnect the battery to stop the noise and keep the battery from draining. In other words, the valve is still getting current with the key off. When the car is running, the brakes still seem to work fine, but the ABS light is on. Earlier in the week I installed a new battery, and things were fine. The noise didn't start until a few days later. The old battery was tested and was bad. When changing the battery the negative clamp was stripped out so I wrapped a hose clamp around where the bolt goes, and it worked fine. Very tight clamp. Did I make some sort of mistake at this point that could've caused this? There are various other quirky electrical issues(odometer LED appears and disappaers, dome light sometimes won't go off) that have been happening for the entire 2 years that we've owned the car. This problem I"m describing does not go away. Any help would greatly appreciated.

Do the lines screw into something that looks like this?
If so, your ABS pump motor may be stuck on. Usually that is caused from a faulty control module on top of the hydraulic modulator.
Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Yes sir, that looks a lot like the part in question, perhaps identical. Any advice on what to do? Should I try to do something myself, or should I go to a mechanic? Thank you so much for taking the time to answer and to post a picture as well. God Bless.

Your best bet would be to take it in to be diagnosed properly...
More than likely you have a bad module but this is a very expensive part to be guessing at..

Would you have a diagram or description of how the brake lines connect to the box under the master cylinder?
