2000 Honda Civic

don't recall mileage but it's over 100K.

Background: for the past 2 weeks the car has been a little slow to start up. Saturday i turned the key and heard it slowly die. But my radio and lights still worked. Checked the battery, noticed it was a little low on water so filled it up and tried agian. Nothing. Went to remove the battery and noticed bolts on the positive side were corroded so couldn't get it off. Got a jump and went to Walmart to have it checked out and they said the battery was no good. Got a new battery all is good, until a couple of hours later I'm stopped with my foot on the brake and it's starts jerking like it's going to turn off. Air was on at the time. Put the car on park and it kept doing it. Any thoughts on what this could be? NEVER did this before the battery was changed.

By the way, I did notice that Walmart was able to remove the corroded bolts. Any chance maybe the cables were damaged due to the corrosion? I don't want to keep dumping money to find the problem. I've spent about $1300 in repairs over the last month and 1/2.

Recently done: radiator fan, fixed oil leak, replaced timing belt, 12 or 14 of the hoses, and a bunch of other stuff I don't remember but can look up once I get home.

Thanks!

May sure they didn't leave any hoses or wires disconnected first. Sometimes the computer needs time to relearn the idle strategy after the memory has been cleared.
