Have the system scanned for any trouble codes that may be stored.Autozone will do this for free. When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced? Been awhile, have a new one installed. Have the fuel pressure checked with a fuel pressure gauge. May have a fuel pump failing. Happened to me. They thought it was the distributor first, then realized it was the starter.
