Sign In I recently tried to start my 1999 Pontiac Bonneville after it had started to get cold with winter. I had just driven it 3 days prior and everything worked perfect. Now when I turn the ignition, the inside lights and the headlights flash very rapidly but the engine won't even turn. I checked the battery terminals (I've had corrosion problems there in the past) but it still won't start. Any advice? Sign In Do check battery as H suggested. In that you had corrosion problems before take a real good look at those cable ends. Hard to see without removing the covers to see if they are really lots worse than you might think.
