The locking knob will go up and down with the remote and the door switch, thing just will not unlock....getting old climbing over the passenger seat to drive...any ideas? Then try manually unlocking from inside then by key on the outside. There is likely a rod that has become disconnected or a clip broken which would be inside and tough to get door panel off to get at the problem. Check out any aftermarket items first as they seem to fail first. It may be helpful to get a road service type biz to get you opened up if only one more time. It's a popular car and they make kits to unlock doors but the person needs to know how to use it without causing more damage. You need to take the door panel off at some point to get at broken parts and YES it will no doubt damage the door panel. You can probably find door panel used if needed a lot cheaper than fixing drilled holes in the door!
