post all the code #s - part store description of codes tend to suggest a NEW part will fix everything...
use AC Delco parts - caution when using 'store' suggested brands...

until we know the codes-
NO SPARK ON 1 SIDE cylinders 2,4,6,8? every other firing, check your plug wires....
do you haxe a scanner or DVOM?
check, spark at all plugs, ck cap and rotor, then fuel pressure.

I'm having a hard time understanding what you typed.

Can you provide more information about what happened before this all occurred?

Was the problem there before you changed the plugs and wires?

How do you know all the cylinders on the right bank are not firing?

When you removed the spark plugs, how did the plugs look on the right bank? Where they wet with fuel or dry as a bone?

Don't know why you would replace an O2 sensor if you have misfiring going on. Misfiring can cause an O2 sensor to register a lean condition because of the extra oxygen in the exhaust not being used up.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Re: 1998 Chevy /Silverado-1500 v8 5.7L that the whole right side not firing!? Sign In

the reason i when to them my check engine when on and my truck start running rough erratic idle then at acceleration my whole in side of my truck shook very bad but when to get 50 60 it would run smooth. yes when to autozone they plug it in i had ten code they wouldn't give me them. but they said it was multiple misfire both sides both top sensors one was lean one wasn't getting anything. so i did a oil change with filter, fuel filter, sprak plug and wires, coil still all did't fix that what thay said to try first. ok so i when head to took to a mechanic he did a diagnostic and he said was multiple misfire now what ever i did it change to misfire one side on the right so he told me to try to one senors at at time .so here i am need help

David: You are being asked questions and not answering them which isn't helping anyone help you.

Codes everywhere is not a surprise if running this poorly. Not given the code #s by Autozone or another isn't helping either.
Basics before this gets nasty costly running like this. WHAT DID EACH SPARK PLUG LOOK LIKE THAT YOU TOOK OUT AND DID YOU MARK WHICH ONES WERE WET, FOULED OR ANYTHING?
If this is really totally not working on 4 of 8 cylinders I doubt it could be driven at all. If you manage somehow it's self destructing now by your description.
At a minimum you should have a plain spark presence tester you just put between plugs and plug wire and it blinks if spark at all on that one in one revolution of cranking.
Plugs again if just looked at would be telling as said. Right OE type on this also. Any chance you mixed up firing order in your work?

It all matters or will not work properly or have a chance to,

T
