1997 dodge neon will not crank

I have a 1997 dodge neon, was driving the other night stopped at the store got back in and car would not start lights stereo every thing came on but no sound at all when turning the ignition, had battery checked, it was good starter needed to be replaced, so got new starter still nothing any ideas?

Still seem like a battery cable connection probably at battery. Checking these off car isn't the same as in car with proper testing.
Some electrical things left on will quit just during crank, some don't. If clock or radio setting changed that's a strong clue to cable connections. Starter takes tons more power than other items and will behave like it has no battery at all during cranking if bad enough and just silence from the starter or one click then nothing for a second or two,
