Have you pulled the wheels and inspected the brakes? Could be a warning tab.

No I have not. For some reason my original posting isn't there either. It's coming from the frt, happens intermittently, and I don't think it's a warning tab (assuming that's the thing that makes brakes screech when they're low) only because they had just done the breaks before I bought the car. They did the rotors and pads. Will prob pull the wheels soon though if I don't find some good answer . Not very good with cars though

Video wasn't conclusive to me so as DS just said you need to look at them. You seem to have just been told fronts were just done but were they really?
Those tabs to make noise so annoying you'll check can be set wrong right out of the box new OR sometimes certain pads just stink and make noise more than others?
Usually the wear sensors will chirp at first then obnoxious but go quiet when brakes are applied. It has to be looked at and if you are not confident in a complete inspection even removing calipers and pads to look for a flaw have it done and lube caliper again if need be while there.
Most brake noise of any kind will change greatly with brakes applied vs just driving along.
IMO with brakes is that they should be checked at least a look periodically and not wait for a sensor to warn you as again IMO those if set like most are too late and pad too thin by the time they make noise,

Before I got the car the brakes were shot. As part of the agreement, they replaced pads and rotors before i got the car. No noise for like a week and then bam sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. It's actually very rare that it happens, but when it does, it sticks for a while and then stops. I haven't noticed any burning smells, tire heat, or change in directions when braking, and actually, the noise doesn't get worse when I do brake. It only makes it sometimes when I'm driving. After doing more research I'm assuming the caliper pins need to be relubed.. Either that or the brake line thing right above the caliper needs to be replaced. Since it's so intermittent, I assume it's not the entire caliper. The only reason I want to get it fixed is because when it does happen, it's loud as hell. You may not be able to tell how loud, but if I can pick up the noise recording from my phone with wind noise and all, and it's that loud... Yeah. I'm definitely going to have my guy take a look at it here in a couple days. I saw a similar video that made the same noise on a Saturn sl, so I think my suspicions were correct but still some further help would be much appreciated.

I'm doing some reading between the lines on this. They meaning seller did the brakes at your request before buying the car so one would naturally thing the cheapest way out.
There are some wild price differences in the parts both and mostly pads and rotors. If they could just turn the rotors instead of replace you really can't know that now can you or if a dealer sale I would think motivated to do the very cheapest even more but any which way not overspend.
Cheaper doesn't always mean bad or noisy. Quick parts looks up showed about what I expected for exact model year of hardware to grease including ALWAYS the pins. All showed a plate on the pads there for noise also and they would work without doing that and don't know if some come without new every time and might not need that.
Being quiet for a week is common even if the things are all properly done it would wait a little while.
If the noise is determined to be the wear sensor it should be able to be bent back and be done with it. If noise is just bad luck the pads have to go for another type or brand still made exactly for the car and depending on how many miles now do something with rotors or not a judgment call. There are "ceramic" pads that cost more boldly claim no noise and no annoying brake dust on your wheels too but cost about twice as the regular ones.
Noise can come and go as you said and may not do this every time you drive - right? Tough call but it might just go away with some more time and use if pads only have an attitude.
Note: Any vehicle or make can have noisy brakes. It seems you aren't fully ready to do stuff yourself at least without properly experienced help to take things apart but should be able to plain look taking just wheel off looking for that sensor. A bent bit a metal that scratches like a fingernail on a chalk board and unmistakable. Some as said could be wrong new or possible to just drop on floor perhaps and bend it such that it's already touching??
Stinks as you requested them done pre-purchase and unless somehow seller will take care of this it's yours now and probably best to let the pros do their thing with your description of what and when you hear it.
Hey - the web is great for suggestions and see and hear similar issues like you have but what counts really ends up your exact car and parts in this case not anyone else's.
The brake hose mentioned probably isn't involved unless left loose and some you can twist up (not many I know of) such that it makes a squiggle twist and would fail from rubbing or plain break but doubt that and if a holder for line not right would think a rattle more than this type noise if anything?
Sorry for the novel but I say trust the pros and let them free with the fix. It's a wildly popular model of car so lots of choices in parts almost all in stock so no issues there.
