I have a 97 S-10 running poorly with code p0302 misfire cylinder 2 coming up. I have changed cap, rotor, wires, plugs and now the fuel pump. Im at my wits end on this. Oh yeah it has a 4.3L with CESFI. Can anyone help me?

I guess it's time to stop throwing parts at it and do some testing. You need to somehow determine whether it's spark, fuel or compression that is causing the miss. The compression test is the easy part. You will have to use an inline spark tester to test spark and you will also need a professional scan tool and accurate fuel pressure gauge to perform an injector balance test. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
