Rapid door chime. Sign In It's been sitting for about 6 weeks. It started to turn over and there was some clicking and a pop from behind the glove box. Then it stopped turning over. Now the door chime that comes from the same area in chiming rapidly, which I have never heard before. When I turn the key, the Check Engine light comes on, but nothing happens. No crank at all. I made sure I had enough of a charge. Everything else electrical works fine. The starter was new last year, and it has power going to it. Rapid door chime. Sign In I would start by checking your battery connections and making sure they are Clean, lubed and tight. soungs like bad connection somewhere. Maybe bring in the battery to a autoparts store and have it load tested. Sign In I checked the connections. Everything seems fine. I even hooked up a charger on jump mode. Same thing. Fast chime behind the glove box. No crank.
