1996 buick park ave cruise control not working-- replaced under dash switches

my cruise control was turning itself off with a click under the dash after working for about 15 minutes on my 1996 buick park ave. After waiting about a half hour, it would work again but only for about another 15 minutes before turning itself off again with a click under the dash. It finally stopped working altogether. I replaced both under dash switches -- parts 12450036 which controls brake switch and 12450039 which controls cruise control and it still doesn't work. The cc fuse is good. Any answers?

This is not something that can be determined by someone that is not there. The system needs to be troubleshooted to determine the source of the problem. It could be the transducer among other things.
