I changed the calibers and the front brake hoses; after test driving and hitting the brakes a couple of times, the front brakes stayed engaged, heated up, and locked up. I then released the pressure by opening the brake bleeder, and test drove; however, the front brakes locked up again. What could have caused this problem? Could it be the master cylinder and booster? Or ABS system? Thank you very much.

If opening one bleeder released both wheels, then the master cylinder is highly suspect but first make sure that the push rod has just a little play in it because if it doesn't the master will not release and will build up pressure. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
