Hello. I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Silhouette that won't start. The car had been overheating for weeks before this happened (even when we refilled the radiator fluid, and also gave it oil several times). The last time the car started, it was overheating profusely, and the gas light was on. After the car shut off, it wouldn't shut back on again. I've tried to charge the battery, and while the lights get to working for a bit, any attempt to start the car doesn't work and the lights shut off completely; even the internal car noise stops working. The crank appears to move, but it moves very slowly or not at all. When the battery was being charged while it was hooked up to the charger, about 15-30 min of charging returned the internals to working (albeit somewhat dim). In addition, the power door isn't working and it needs a tune-up. What can I do to get the car to start?
