Hello everyone. My 1995 Nissan Sentra GXE (1.8L) with 120000 miles is having some annoying intermittent problems. The check engine light came on as well.
Sometimes (probably 20% of the time) when I start my car, if I turn on the AC right away or give it any gas, It will immediately stall out. This can occur within a couple of minutes of starting it and then it's fine for the most part, though occasionally when I accelerate after this occurs, there is really bad hesitation or something, like it wants to stall, and it just sort of "leaps" forward trying to accelerate (feels kind of like stalling a stick-shift repeatedly). When this occurs, I just have to wait another minute or two for it to return to normal because it can't be driven in that state.
I recently changed the air filter, fuel filter, and spark plugs (but not the plug cables). When I changed the fuel filter, I thought it did the trick, but a couple days later it had the same issues.
Aside from this, I don't notice any other issues, and it seems to run fine.
Help would be much appreciated.

Get the codes pulled and post the numbers here. A fuel pressure reading both static and when this is occurring would help too.

Update:
Back in town now. The alternator just died completely. After I put in the new alternator and reconnected the battery, the check engine light was gone. So far the intermittent problems seem to be gone too.
