I have check all of the breaks pads & shoes and they are like new I would like to know if anybody has had this problem and if so what was the cause of it and what had to be done to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. As they wear and get thinner the propensity to warp increases. Other things that can make the same smptoms are when removing a wheel for any reason - even just rotating tires if there's flakey rust between rotor/drum and hub it may fall down such that when wheel is tightened up again it's not back true and flush to hub. If it started out of the blue it's usually really warpage. You can measure that with a dial indicator or sometimes see it if bad enough. 1. If rust flakes first mentioned, you need to scrape off hubs with a gasket scraper AND clean up the mating surface of drum or rotor as well and soon or it will wear into a pattern and all will need help. Use the smallest smear of grease (brake lube suggested) on the drum as too much can sling off to friction surface! Not good. Rotor should be vented and grease would sling away harmlessly USUALLY but don't over do it. There isn't much paint alone that really stops that problem if it's that at all. 2. The other possibilities are something (grease or whatever) got onto friction surface. If baked in good enough it might machine out or might need new set of rotors/drums on that axle and use brake cleaner made to clean the linings. If soaked they won't clean up and the problem would return soon. ** Make sure parking brake is truly releasing also. Frozen cables are the most likely cause that they don't retract all the way but could be other cause. One more maybe: I think rear wheel bearing on this are serviceable and could be good but if not adjusted up properly too much 'lash' - 'freeplay' can cause brake pulsation as well. Again left to pulse long enough can wear the drums to need turning or replacement as well. I think rear wheel bearings should look like this and if drum has a rusty ring may be very difficult to remove or retract the adjuster..........
