1994 toyota p/u ignition switch replacement

My 1994 p/u has 190K miles, 22R engine with manual tranmission, runs good but occasionally has issue to turn the ignition swicth and start the engine. Believe the switch was worn out since the key can be removed in any position. Now the key won't turn and steering wheel locked up because I overturned it. How can I release the steering wheel locking position and what would it take to remove the old switch out of the sterring columm and replace that switch with new one? Thanks a million for helping.
