1994 Saturn SL2 Car doesn't starting after driving

My 1994 Saturn SL2 has 80k miles on it. For the past couple months, the car will not start after driving it for only about 30 minutes or so. The engine doesn't crank, or even attempt to turn over. All that happens is the lights in the dashboard turn on. If I leave my car sit for about an hour or so, it will start just fine. The battery has been check out and is fine, and no power loss has been experienced. Occasionally it takes turning the key a few times before the engine starts. Other times this doesn't work at all, and I need to wait a while to do so. I've been told a gammut of problems may be occurring, and I'd like it narrowed down if you can or ways to check for a specific problems. I definitely don't have the money to even consider replacing everything that I've been told to replace that might cause the problem. So far, I've been informed it could be so far: CTS Fuel Pump/Fuel Pump Sensor Faulty Wiring Air Filter Starter/Starter Solenoid Spark Plugs Now, I'm not terribly auto savvy, but a few of these seem questionable at the least. Considering I've been burned in the past hard, I want a pretty good idea of what could be going on before I do anything. Thanks for the help.

CTS -- no chance Fuel Pump/Fuel Pump Sensor - no chance Faulty Wiring - pretty generic, there are a few thousand wires in there. Air Filter - no chance Starter/Starter Solenoid - very possible but still needs to be troubleshooted correctly before changing. Spark Plugs- no chance Let me add...... ignition switch Transmission range sensor Security system Starter relay Battery cable connections Any related wiring ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Well that's certainly why I like to get some input. Turns out that most of what I've been told isn't likely the problem. I can also knock out the security system, as I don't actually have one on my car. So I'm gonna guess that it probably has something to do with the electrical systems in my car, and that driving it may be heating up some component and creating a bad connection? And letting it sit contracts said component and reconnects it to where it needs to be?

When the engine won't crank, then you have to follow a wiring diagram and determine where you're losing the power in the circuit. You can't just throw parts at it because that will become very expensive and no matter how good they are nobody can tell you what the problem is without any testing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
