A few years ago I replaced the main filler hose on my van. It was a beast to do without dropping the tank but I got it done. Now there is a hose next to it, but I'm not sure what purpose it serves. Someone suggested venting.... Any rate, that thing is now WAY rotted as well. I got the old one pulled off and took it to my local Kragen and was laughed at by some smug A- hole who's only capable of saying the word "nope". I wish I lived closer to autozone, but I moved over the summer. Damn.

I have what I believe to be a ford part number but google does not yield any results for it. There is a tag on the hose marked UZ-9170-A. I'm not sure about that zero though, it's reallly worn off at that part of the tag. I think it's right though. How and where can I get that part?

When I did the larger diameter hose a few years ago, I just bought a 12 inch length of fuel grade hose from CarQuest here locally. They are no longer operational where I live and no one else sells fuel grade hose by the foot here in town. So says the Kragen butthole anyway. I don't know the ID of this hose, but amazon sells some fuel hose by the foot. Will that work or am I stuck having to call Ford?

I found this part, but I'm not 100% sure it's exactly the right piece. All I really need anyway is just that smaller diameter hose. The filler neck is not rusted out or overly damaged.

I just had to replace this on my van. seems like nobody sells this hose by the foot anymore. i had to buy mine at ford parts. 55 dollars for this piece of hose but the guy had pity on me and let me have it for 38 bucks. i had to drop my tank because i could'nt get on clamp the way they installed it. good luck.
