I have a 1994 Honda Civic DX, 1.5 litre engine, with 75,000 miles. I had the radiator replaced last summer.
I noticed the coolant in the reservoir has turned brown. I checked the coolant in the radiator. The coolant there was normal green color. What could have caused the reservoir coolant to turn brown ?

If there is no discolored coolant in the radiator, then this is residual from a previous problem or someone mistakenly added oil to the wrong place. Just remove the tank and clean it thoroughly and see what happens in the future.
