I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I don't know the engine size, but it's a 6cylinder with 132,000 miles on the original engine. I've replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, put new fuel injectors on, and had a tune-up because the car started running really rough. It even started vibrating when I would come to a stop light. So I had all this replaced and now the car is running worse instead of better. Since I had the fuel injectors changed, my car now dies when I start it up and even when I'm driving, it feels like it's going to die and then sometimes it does. When I put it in neutral, it seems to idle more evenly. And it didn't do this until my mechanic put on new fuel injectors. My mechanic believes that it's the whole unit the fuel injectors are connected to. Can anyone help me out with this?

Who's doing the diagnosis for replacing all these parts? Is the check engine light coming on at all? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

My mechanic has been working on this.....my check engine light just started coming on after he replaced the fuel injectors, but I've always had problems with my computer malfunctioning. The airbag light won't go off at all and the onboard computer has never worked.....it's always flashed.....only the clock works. What my mechanic has said now is that I should probably have a diagnostic done on the engine. He did disconnect a hose and it's running better, but when I turn in on in the morning.....it will die until it's warm, but I have to rev the engine until it's warm.....do you have any ideas? Could it be the PCV valve that making it choke?

This guy calls himself a mechanic? He's telling you to get a diagnostic done? What has he been doing? You just need to find a real technician, not just a guy with wrenches that works cheap.
