I have a video of the problem here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ec4wQ-8Oqy4 When I drive forward and come to a halt the engine simply cuts out - no splutter or dip in idle, its just like a kill switch has been nit. However, if I reverse and brake all is fine. So far I have tested the brake booster vacuum by disconnecting it - the problem persists. I have also cleaned the distributor cap and throttle body, with no change. It seems to cut out just as the car has that slight 'jolt' when you become stationary. If I roll the car in neutral to a gradual stop the engine still runs. I have tried this both in gear and in neutral and whilst giving the engine a bit of gas - it still cuts out when the car stops moving. I am not sure what to do next or what could be causing the issue and am desperate to find out. Any help or advice is very welcome. (link to another forum removed - not allowed and didn't work anyway)

Mostly IDK. If automatic perhaps torque converter is stuck locked in forward. Check motor mounts as just maybe wires or connections get a tug just wrong in forward and might react to a wiggle test. Appears you are almost out of fuel sport! Ahhhh - fuel sloshes in tank and may run out of the way of the pick up in tank in forward and not reverse! Silly stuff happens like that sometimes, T
