1993 Nissan SE KingCab 4X4 V-6 Automatic Transmission
Had it since new been fine til today. 55K miles. Grarage kept, maintance pretty much up to date.
Backed out of garage and into street. Put in drive and pressed gas pedal, barely moved. Though it was not in Drive so checked make sure in Drive. After started rolling seemed OK. Got end of block same thing like did not want to move. Turned around drove back home. Driveway is steep had gas pedal about 1/2 way to floor to get up drive. Usually hardly touch gas pedal.
Idles OK, no leaks under truck, fluid is OK.
What do I need to check?

Do you have a check engine light coming on at all?

Do you have a check engine light coming on at all? Thanks for reply. No, no "Check Engine" or any other warning lights. Just started out of nowhere. Drive down to check mail about every weekday. Yesterday it was fine and rode around 5 mile loop back home. Seem OK today when backed down drive and even OK pulled up to mail box. All started after checked mail and placed truck in "Drive".

You're going to need some help here. Without a trouble code or some hint of what system is acting up, I can't do too much. An experienced tech may be able to do some on site testing to narrow it down.
