Hello everyone. I have a 1993 Ford Taurus SHO that I just bought today for very cheap. This car has 133,000 miles on it and has the V6 engine. Okay, now for the problem. Whenever I drive the car (at whatever the speed) the steering wheel will shake left and right. This does not make the car jerk, but just the steering wheel. I am new to working with cars, so any help would be awesome. Thank you, Kyle

You need to get the tires and wheels inspected and balanced. You could have a broken steel belt in the tire, a bent wheel or a balance problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

It could be. You don't even know what the problem is yet. You could have a tire ready to blow or a wheel ready to come off. It needs to be checked ASAP.
