1992 Oldsmoblie Cutless

My father owns a 1992 Oldsmoblie cutless and is having problems with it. One day it stalled and wouldn't restart. We took it to a garage and they replaced the alternator (which was needed anyway) and the fuel pump. Now the car will stop running at what seems like random times. We have sent it back to the garage and to our Uncle, who fixed my grandfathers car with a similar problem. None of them can find anything wrong. I don't really want to take it to another garage because they would charge us full price, but we need to do something. I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on this problem. Thanks.
