Hi! I have a 92 nissan d21 pickup with a 2.4L KA24E I4 engine. It has about 254,000 miles on the engine the only thing replaced since i got it was the transmission around 200,000 miles. I have had problems with the truck idling once running for a couple minutes. I have no tach so not sure of rpms. I thought it might be the FPR but wanted some other ideas before spending on anything. Also when starting the engine hot about every other time it dies after about 3 second unless i give it some gas. Any help would be appreciated. The truck has no fifth gear due to the transmission not going with the shifter I have so I cant get it into fifth gear. I drive about 20 miles on interstate daily for work but usually dont go over 55. Ive already had to replace my slave cylinder once.
