1992 Buick Century Special Turn signal and parking light issue

Hi There I have a 1992 Buick Century Special with 109,xxx miles. Very decebt car to be honest with you and love my car.
However the thing is when I purchased the car from a private party I had noticed that the car didn't have parking lamps on the front and even the manual tells me how to change it lol. Well looking at the socket and the turn signal lense I noticed that it isn't even original to my car and noticed that parking lamp wires snipped on both ends.
I went ahead to Advanced Auto Parts and got the OEM sockets and went ahead and started working on getting them wired onto the car. My new socket on the left worked like it was supposed to and I even had my parking lamps and was really excited. However power was struck when I looked at the right. The filament i the bulb that is supposed to be for parking lamps was acting as the turn signal bulb and though weird. I also though it was the flasher because when I bought the car I changed out the thermal type flasher for an electrong relay one. So when I seen that I thought weird so I switched the sockets same thing left worked properly and the right side was having issues. So I went ahead and wired back on the old socket which was only two wires and the turn signal worked and then I swapped wires to the parking and parking worked since its a one filament bulb. So put new socket back on and did it again. So I get into the car and noticed with the parking lamps on that my right Turn indicator was on and ummm weird again. Looked at taillights none of them were on except for the dimmed tails but not turn.
I'm thinking its a ground issue as well but I've cleaned the grounding wires with a wires brush. I'm going to continue to troubleshoot but wanted to see what others thought. Is it my flasher causing it or something else.
