i have a 1991 isuzu amigo 2.6L i have been having overheating issues. i have replaced the thermostat, water pump, rotted out the inside of radiator. was just about to buy a new radiator drove it home after about 20 miles smelled a funny marshmellow burning smell.pulled over with it a 3/4 hot noticed while running exhaust manifold is glowing with blue what looks like fire shooting out where donut gasket is could this be why my truck is overheating? put my hand over end of exhaust and seems to be blowing out fine any help would be appreciated.... ps four a four cylinder gets very bad gas mileage and seems to have no power

1991: could be several things but for now I'm guessing exhaust restriction and engine needs to rid itself of exhaust heat which seems like it can't. As said a guess but I would test for exhaust restriction and fix the gasket where you seem to be seeing flames! T
