1990 buick stalling at stops and trying to stall while driving Sign In

Hey everyone, first time making a thread here. Im having issues with my 1990 buick century custom. I bought it when it had over 100k miles and since ive had it, it idled a little high but not too bad. At around 125k miles, i let it sit for almost a year without running it. After getting it running again and on the road, it will stall sometimes when stopped and it tries to stall while driving at higher speeds. I thought there was water in the tank because the way it cuts out while driving, it feels like a small portion of water interrupts the fuel to the engine. However i ran the tank nearly empty and put fresh gas and injector cleaner in but it seems to be getting worse. When it stalls at lights, it pretty much starts right up again. I was just wondering if anyone had a similar issue and fixed it with a cheaper part than the pressure regulator im hoping i dont have to buy. I appreciate everyones time.

If you just parked it and didn't prep it for storage there will probably be a list of things to do and check even just months so a year is plenty.

Battery can't have been any good even if you jumped or charged it up it took a fatal hit being stone dead so if not new that's on the list.

Fuel filter: Just do it and pour the inlet contents of it into a jar so you can see what junk it caught. Water if any would be there but bet there isn't any.

IDK - start somewhere and those two now that you've driven it are in question or time to replace just anyway - the battery especially if just left to go 100% dead and how you dealt with that.

Fuel just because it was old should look as said above,
