1987 Honda Accord shifting issues Sign In

I recently purchased a 1987 Accord 5 speed with 220.000 miles. It is carburated. Im not sure what engine it has in it but it is a four cylinder. The problem i have is when i shift it from 1st to 2nd around 2000 rpm the motor bucks and jumps, and the same when i shift from 2nd to 3rd and so on. But when i shift at 3000 rpm or higher it doesn't buck or jump at all. It only does that on the up shifts. It will also do it when i am driving in 2nd or 3rd at a constant speed at around 1900 to 2800 rpm.Not sure if this is anything or not but i can be driving along and apply a little pressure on the clutch and it will buck and jump as well. I will try to remove the oil check filler bolt tomorrow.
I hope you guys can help. This is a real nice little car the body is very straight interior is great and i am the second owner.
Thanks Dave...
