1985 vw golf 1.8 litre / timing set up

1985 VW golf 1.8 litre.... I replaced timing belt...i removed two of the pullys to clean up the mess...i think somthing moved.... the car will not start now...how do I re set up the ignition to get it right....I require step by step instructions...please.

You probably should have looked into this before tackling this project. A mistake here can cost you an engine if you rotated it out of time. It could have bent all the valves when the original timing belt let go also.
