1972 Cadillac eldorado

I have a 1972 cadillac eldorado,That doesn't have the AC working..Should i convert to r34?.And if so where do i start?..As in replace the ac pump?.any help here guys?...thanks...Doug

there is adapter kit that has r-134a fittings. You dont have to replace any parts to convert to R-134a just the amount of oil in the compressor changes I belive.
they will have to charge the system with 134, inject dye and see where it's leaking from.
