Well basically today on my way to school i slid into a curb I wasnt going to fast but basically I was getting out of my street and I hit the brakes lightly while i was taking the turn ((ABS doesn't work anymore)) and i started to slide, I got my foot off the brake and started steering away I almost avoided it but i still hit it. Anyway's I drove off and got to school wasn't really making any noises but as I inspected it closer i notived the lip of the rim is slightly bent but it's really small. But under closer inspection I noticed the CV boot is split open so i thought o great on my way back home it started making a noise kinda like a thump thump thump im guessing cause the grease came out. The control arms dont look bent but i think the tierods or ball joints might be screwed cause the alignment is a bit off now, bottom line is my dad won't drive it till tomorrow. What do you think's messed up apart from the CV do you think we could just replace the boot and it would still be fine or what?

If your CV joint is making a noise, then I would say it is screwed.
Has far as what else is messed up, you really need to get the car to a shop where they can put it up on a rack to give it a good inspection.

CV boot was probably torn before the encounter with the curb. If you hit hard enough to bend the wheel then something else may be bent. The noise could be all kinds of stuff. Best bet is to jack it up and take a look underneath.

Thanks for the replies guy's I just told my dad about it and he told me to boot was torn before what a relief I was thinking to my self the whole day how the hell does a cv boot tear all the way around from scuffing a curb...

The boot probably didn't tear from this incident but they wear and do that on their own over time. They can spit out grease long before that causes any symptoms but since the symptoms happened the same day it is going to have to be inspected to see what parts may have been damaged. You already know you need that "half shaft" which will come with a new boot but probably won't end with just that IMO,

Yeah so i took the wheel off yesterday and it turns out the ball joint was a bit bent too I had a feeling cause there was a lot of positive camber so the total for thE parts is going to be $120 when I return the old shaft

Don't wait with this as there's no telling how strong a stressed part is now. Amazing that it doesn't take much. Check other 1/2 shaft while doing one and check with a real tire and wheel pro if the wheel is both true and might be able to be fixed!
Remember after the repairs an alignment is needed and make sure that wheel is true or the alignment won't be too good. Hope if bad it's a nice cheap steel wheel AND tire is ok,
