03 Ford ZX2 Dashboard Warnings Light Up When I Park

2003 Ford ZX2
58,000 miles
I noticed this afternoon that randomly when I put my 2003 Ford Zx2 in park the Oil, Check Engine and Battery light show up on the dashboard and it almost feels as if the car is wanting to die on me (although that might be my imagination). I shut off the car and all 3 lights stay on but when I restart they are gone. They only seem to be lighting up when I put the car in park...does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?? Thanks in advance!!

That is strange in park/neutral only... Normally I would suggest cleaning the throttle body because it sounds like a low idle condition but you would really notice that more in drive than park....
Cleaning the throttle body is a good maintenance thing to do........It might not be a bad idea to do it any. Get a can of throttle body cleaner, old toothbush, take the air tube off & clean it real good, starting it every so often so you don't flood it out.
