02 chevy ACCELERATES ON OWN and trac off light

Hi everyone,
Im new to this site and I hope I can accurately give you an idea of whats happening to my car.
Its a 2002 chevy cavailer, 129K miles, 4door, pretty basic accept that it is a duel fule model. It has an extra tank for CNG in the trunk.
The problem is that while driving the car will continue to accelerate. I take my foot off the pedal and it still accelerates. Kinda scary really. I have to ride the break to keep a constant speed. Then if I need to stop at a traffic light or what-not, my car jerks. It kind-of revs and rocks foreward. By that I mean the car is trying to accelerate over and over again. No matter how hard I press on the break it still creeps foreward. I must give myself LOTS of room at lights so I dont "rock" into the car in front of me.
Whenever this happens random lights come on the dash board. Trac Off, check engine ect...
I took it to a chevy dealership and they said it was the computer so they charged me $990 dollars to fix/replace the problem. It ran great for 4 days. Now the problem is back and just as bad.
I really hope that someone knows whats going on with my car. I love my car.
