hi help me please,,,
driving down the road the other day the engine managment light came on then the epc light then i lost power, since i broke down the engine will turn over but not fire, if i keep the engine turning the oil light flashes and beeps three times? does anyone know what has gone wrong with my 2000 w reg mk4 glf 1.6?

It happened with my 2003 golf and the alternator was dead.. Maybe check that out..

Sweet steph - the battery is cranking this engine if I'm reading it properly so what would an alternator have to do with it?
