Hello everyone, this is my friends 2003 Camry he overfilled the engine when he Changed the oil, the sound of the engine is now different, what could happen in this situation will there be a permanent damage to the engine, need your advice before we proceded to do anything. thank you and God bless you all.

Don't run it anymore till drained out and correct amount put back. Measure how much came out. Damage unknown till more is known with correct level in it,
