I am wondering if water coming out of my exhaust pipe is a bad sign or normal. I have a 2000 Ford Expedition and have noticed a couple of times in the last few weeks that water is dripping our of my exhaust pipe when I am park. It is about like the water that drips from the A/C once you have stopped for awhile. The dripping is noticeable.
What does this indicate?
Thanks so much.

Mitch are these after short trips.... say within 5-10 miles or so, and that the car has sat off for a while before nothing this drip?

If this is the case its "mostly" just a case of the drips lol jk.... condensation build up, that is getting pushed out through the exhaust system.

Could be normal. For every drop of gasoline burned your vehicle makes the same amount of water in vapor form which with cold exhaust pipes can condense into water. Make sure it's not antifreeze or oily and if not take it for a good ride and it should be at a minimum and about stop depending on temp and humidity levels. T

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try experimenting a couple times. Short trip and then a long trip to see what it does. It has been more humid and we've had more temp. changes here in California during the past month. Thanks
