VW Transporter 2003 Serious Engine Power Loss, Limp mode Sign In

I've got a VW Transporter 2003 AXE 2.5 engine and it has a serious power loss. It accelerates very slowly under 2000 rpm. Very often if i reach 100 klm/h the car with go into Limp mode and max. speed will be 60 klm/h. What to do?

The first step is to have the computer scanned for stored codes.

Post the code NUMBERS here, not someone's interpretation of the code.

The code that shows up is 16619 and its not someone's interprentation but mine. I repair the car here and i am really desperate cause i have no solutions.

That is not an OBD2 code number. I'm assuming this is a Euro vehicle not sold here in the US.

Just googled that number and it probably has something to do with the turbocharger boost pressure not being achieved. Inspect all your intake pipes and make sure they are connected and not leaking. Just do a good visual inspection. A problem with the boost pressure sensor or its circuit, faulty turbo charger, air intake restrictions, and/or waste gate issues can cause boost problems.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

All intake pipes and turbocharger were changed with pipes from a healthy transporter, still same problem nothing changed at all.
