Hello mates,
I have a Toyota Corolla, 1986 (EE-80) and it has a 2E-LU Engine with 12 Valves.
My problem is that the catbeurator is making trouble. There are plenty
of connecting pipes underneath it, for the vaccum lining, and i have removed them
now i don't know how to put them back on.

If any one has a Repair manual for 2E or 2E-LU engine, please share with me,
Or if any one has any diagram, or any help regarding this, I will be greatful.

Thank you all, for your time and effort. Highly Appreciated Smile

That's tough! Perhaps DanD has a diagram. Some of these had a sticker underhood for this too, look for that. If you go by guessing just know that a carb is three zones. Lower, middle and upper - duh. The lower ports are usually manifold vacuum, the middle is venturi effect vacuum (for egr etc.) and the top usually just vapor recovery.

Best I can do with a keyboard, - T

This is the only diagram I've got for an 86, hope it helps.

WOW
Thanks a Million Buddy, u solved a huge problem !!!
I have seen Carbs, but this is a real tough nut !!!
v difficult to understand this one .....

One last request, would u happen to have any guide or some thing regarding this carbeurator ?

I have removed it from the car, and well it needed a good washing, so down with Patrol and brush
have cleaned most of it ... however woudl still be great if i could follow the specs.

Again, Thanks a million for your time and effort

Have you priced a carb rebuild kit. Some are wicked inexpensive - would come with a needle valve and accellerator pump and may cost less than $20US -- It would have stuff to check float level and all the gaskets needed and the specs for it. Just something to think about. It won't come with choke pull offs. - T

Cool alrite, well see,
What i did was I bought the whole Carb. so now i have 2 Carbs.
What i need is manufacturer's specs, or guidelines as how to service it,
and what are the design specs, which shall gauge is drive worthy.
Got plenty of spare parts man, Just need to develop this undrestanding
and this skill, it's kinda Challenge.

One request, Can the Image file please be emailed to me, the resolution is
not very high in the post, maybe that's why it is unclear when it is printed.

Thanks people .Smile

Sorry salman78 it would be a huge pain for me to send you all the repair info on these carbs there must be at least 40 pages or more. With the way my system is set up I would have to print up all the different procedures (it won’t let me copy and paste). Then scan them back to a file, resize them, up load them to the net, after all of that I could post them here. Like I said it would be just too much of a pain let alone all the time it would take.
You must be able to purchase a manual somewhere on line for this thing and I think that would be the route to go.
As for the quality of the diagram, that’s the way it came from my source again sorry but that’s how it is.
Dan.

Buy the book. A car or two will probably be the second most expensive thing in your life. Get used to it. I spent mega thousands to be able to work on cars. I suggest you bit the bullet and buy the manual for your cause, T
