2003 Landrover Freelander 2.0 150k Hi so I'm not really to sure where it is or what it looks like. Hard to find many videos or info on this model. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I couldn't find that engine size? This said it fits a 2.5 V6 and should look like this if picture shows> Now the scary part is the price listed was $252.99USD! IF you need to replace it? If just one belt to get off this shows what should be a 3/8th square (measure it to be sure) to use a standard ratchet or breaker bar on, move it towards making belt loose. Watch out some can then move (belt now off) and take your tool with it such that it gets stuck? It also looks like the extension is square such that maybe (measure it) a wrench could move it? Hey - I didn't find this exact engine so this may all be wrong. You should be able to just recognize which pulley is the tensioner. If nothing looks like this do what I did is search for the part and look for it on this SUV in the belt system. There's a chance this doesn't use this way rather a threaded rod or fixed adjustment of another way to tension belt? I said I didn't find this exact engine so all bets off, T

Yes, the 2.5 is the only engine option here in the US. Here is a picture of the tensioner ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

OK, if this is a 2.5 that's it. Re: measuring? > use a small 3/8th extension in that see how well it fits. If so it's like a zillion of the things (how they work, assorted makers) from there. Good luck, T

Thanks again, I'm actually having a mobile mechanic come by. My "helpful" friend who flips cars isn't much help. Need two people to do it because the only way to get to it is from under the engine.
