I start it again and before I can even try rev it up to keep it running it dies. I seem to hear a clicking sound when I turn the key off coming from under the hood. it's a 2003 Grand Am GT 6 cyl. Can you tell me what it might be? I have to do this over and over before it finally STAYS on. Both just key on engine off and again when it run finally too - all good info to know. If so, what are the code numbers? One suggestion is to check the fuel pressure regulator to see if it is leaking and flooding the engine out. I don't have a long crank time. It just starts right up and then dies as fast as it started. And it only seems to happen when it colder out. If the temp is in the 50;s it starts right up. Colder? It starts and then stops.
