Morning Guys.. i have an n reg escort si 16 with 75K on clock.. the last few weeks it has started to splutter and lose power when driving, it happens randomly... In the mornings, it will fire up spot one, but when u go up and down gears, the car will lose its revs and cut out... I could be driving , then put my foot down and it will start to splutters and kangaroo.... I have had some guy test it on the meter to see what error codes it was throwing back... He thinks it could be the air flow filter and the crank summit.... Guys, in need of some help and advice here... cheers for your time

Just an idea---- Has timing belt been done yet? They usually need doing around your miles but don't usually fail in the mannor you described. Generally they are go or no go at all. It's worth looking in to,
