2007 VW Polo 1.2 55000 kms When changing gears from 12345 the rev increases and then comes back to normal. I took the vehicle to vw techician for a diagnostic the results were normal.the clutch was also tested and was found to be in good working order. Still having difficulty in sorting out problem.

If a VW tech said that is normal it may be. Is the car new to you? Is your shifting it slower than some might do? IDK for sure but some manual trans vehicles will maintain engine RPM for a while, not raise it just not quickly return to idle speed. Did tech drive the car or you for the test? Perhaps it's you, not the car - can't say, T
