Engine Misfire on number 3 plug Sign In

I have a ford focus 56 plate that has recently developed misfiring, took it to the garage, had the coil pack and leads replaced and the problem persists.Started this am, cleared the fault with an engine scanner, and it worked fine again, I'm sure its a problem to rise up again. Can anybody advise please

This is a US based site so exacting info lacking. Still - just the biz of this. You have a problem, took it in and it didn't fix it? At all?
1. Take it right back would be the thing to do.
2. Now that you messed with it you really own the problem again but so be it.

If you know this is #3 then see it swapping spark plugs knowing where each came from if the problem follows AND how each plug looked. You've cleared the memory for now and it ran better!

What might be different when you did that? Rain or other reason possible?

If taking this on now yourself I'd look at plugs and do the swap thing and see if problem follows first. I didn't see new plugs on any repair and know they are the only thing that sparks so really matter the most. Always use exact suggested OE spark plugs when or if you do,

translating:
this is a UK model 2006 ford focus engine unknown, and showing ONLY code p0303?

misfires can be ignition, fuel or mechanical. coil and wires were changed were the PLUGS looked at maybe changed?
Has fuel injector been looked at tested? noid light, ohmed, a fuel pressure leak down test KOEO would ck for leaking inj
Also vacuum leaks esp at #3 cylinder.
finally a compression test. .

My bad should have known this is a US site, just thought engines are the same, thanks by the way.

It's not a problem to come here. Principles of how things work are very similar. Just if a part or picture of something exact is just harder for looking it up or unavailable for some specifics,
