Acceleration issue Sign In

I am having troubles accelerating my 2012 ram 2500 hemi 5.7 L. The problem feels like it is running out of fuel and only happens the first time I start the truck everyday. Fuel injector cleaner seemed to help at first but it is now getting worse. It seems to be worse in colder weather. There is no engine light on so I can't use my code reader. Any idea on what could cause this? Thanks

Re: Acceleration issue Sign In

There should be a code pending whether light is on or not with this.

Seems like low fuel delivery, possibly pressure just under spec or leaking back to tank too fast for higher consumption of cold and acceleration.

Check pressure while it's cold and get the codes read anyway,

I see the word hemi alarms go off - is vehicle STOCK as delivered by dodge?
tom's advice to scan is step 1- do not fall for no light no code thinking...
